Happiness is a choice, instead of saying that I will be happy when this or that happens, take one step at a time towards happiness. Surrender to Wonder and Awe, that each moment you are leaving has a significance in your life, when you believe in something, you are planting seed for the same.
Today do not let your happiness be dependent on future events, like if I have this relation I will be happy, if I have this job or promotion I will be happy, if I get this phone or this gadget I will happy, if i have this friends or only if this person behaves in this manner I will be happy. Is your happiness other people responsibility ? The answer is no, it's upto you, how you take it, it's your attitude that will make you happy, remember you are on path and this path has all the situations, ( consider like a riddle where there are hints, guideline, support group etc., even if you do not see that doesn't mean they do not exist) you just need to believe in wonder and magic of universe, then you will see everything unfolding. You will get all the pieces of puzzle, you will see all dots connecting, and suddenly all will make sense, till then you do not need to wait for being happy. Enjoy every moment, be in gratitude.
Only who believes in magic and Surrender can experience it, if you do not believe in magic it's fine, believe in self, see how far you have come that will determine how far you can go. Sometime we are so focus on our goals that we forget the process, like a child who is in class 1 you cannot expect him to appear for class 10, similarly you have certain lessons to learn till you reach to the level you have decided for your self. Till then be gentle with self and be happy.
Do not keep that clothes hiding for special occasions, do not keep that cutlery for some day for some guest to arrive, do not wait for special occasions to go to spa or parlour, just enjoy with what you have in this moment.
Affirm I live in here and now, I believe in my journey and I enjoy every moment which is unfolding new understanding, which brings more happiness in my life.
